Probably Not The Kind Of Music You Hear In The Dentist’s Office
Cutting edge classical performers Hilary Hahn and Volker Bertelman added the sound of tearing gaffers tape with their teeth to their performance in Iceland recently.
Hahn, a violinist, and Bertelmann, who plays “prepared” piano (a piano with items placed inside it to modify the sound) concluded their recent performance in Reykavik, Iceland with Bertelmann removing a roll of gaffers tape that he had placed into the piano (along with ping pong balls, marbles and bottle caps) and tearing it with his teeth.
