In a detailed study of the curative powers of duct tape, the National Institute of Health has gone a long way towards disproving the myth that duct tape can remove warts.

In two separate laboratory trials involving 193 participants, scientists at the Institute found that duct tape was no more effective than a placebo in wart removal.
