Product Development Class Dresses Up Duct Tape
The School of Human Ecology at Louisana Tech combined product design and marketing exercises to create duct tape dresses.
Unlike the “one off” projects so common around prom season to make prom clothing, teams of Louisiana Tech students were challenged to make a wearable tape garment in only three hours.
The design exercise was followed up by additional classwork and discussion around the topics of merchandising, sales management and customer relations.
