No Gaffers Tape. No Formula One!

gaffers tape from thetapeworks.com on formula 1carTwo well known drivers in Austin’s debut Formula One inaugural race were sent back to the pits to cover offending graphics with gaffers tape before they were allowed to qualify.

Both pulled out the gaffers tape to cover images that were violations of the race promoter’s rules.

Sebastian Vettel, driving for the Red Bull team, was required to remove a company graphic from the top of his helmet because that space is considered “off limits” because of the view from an on board camera.

Diver Lewis Hamilton was forced to cover what was thought to be an abbreviation of an obscenity from the back of his helmet.
