An Illinois middle school has made the Guiness Book of World Records for the world’s largest masking tape ball.

Matt Harding’s class at Cowherd Middle School created the sticky sphere from 200 lbs. of the paper tape and it is now over 60 inches in diameter.

While holding a record, their creation comes no where close to the world’s record for the largest tape ball, made from any kind of tape. That ball is almost 13 feet in diameter and weighs a ton.

Harding’s class hopes to continue to expand their creation and someday claim the other record.
