Wouldn’t It Be Easier To Just Bend The Prongs?

We like Lifehacker, and usually think that their advice is useful, particularly when it involves gaffers tape.

Unfortunately, this one fell flat.

In a travel tips article they recommended that travelers carry gaffers tape to hold electrical adapters into wall sockets since they are often loose.

Our recommendation:  Simply bend the prongs a little so that they better grip the outlet.
