“Virtual” Duct Tape Part of Addiction Recovery Therapy
The Family Recovery Center in Longmont, CO uses what they call “duct tape therapy” in an approach designed to help the families of addicts.
Participants in the program are encouraged to put a strip of imaginary duct tape over their mouths whey they are tempted to react inappropriately.
