This Duct Tape Boat Might Actually Make It Back to Shore
Duct tape boat races have become common as fund raisers and team building exercises. The boats usually sink within minutes and none are built to last.
Three Michigan boys did it a little differently.
These high school freshman spend 120 hours and worked through 35 rolls of duct tape and over 200 feet of pvc pipe to build a boat that would hold all three of them and let them spend the afternoon paddling around Lake Michigan.
Their boat was over 15 feet long and it lived to float another day.
