The late Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland was famous for wielding a megaphone on stage as part of his act.

People Magazine, in an article about custom designed to showcase custom made urns for the cremated ashes of rock stars, features an urn made to look like the megaphone that Weiland threw across the stage and even includes an interview with the stage tech who had to constantly gaff tape the megaphone together in order to make it work night after night.
