Duct Tape Prank Not Really All That Funny
A “prankster” who stretched duct tape, sticky side up, across a Forsyth, GA highway apparently caused over $1700.00 in damage to a local woman’s car. She had to take the car to a repair shop to have the tape removed, and then needed to return to the shop for a major repair caused by the tape.
This is the second instance of Georgia law enforcement officers responding to a report of duct tape stretched across a busy roadway.
A repair techncian who worked on the Georgia woman’s car says that having a strong, sticky substance like duct tape wrapped around a vehicle’s drive train or caught up in the brakes could cause serious safety issues.
