Duct Tape Fashion In The News-Must Be Prom Season

In an attempt to prove that everything can be recycled, a group of Buffalo, NY high school students took on a project to repurpose candy wrappers,  lottery tickets, milk cartons and duct tape.

This “going green” project covered four different categories.  The most interesting, by far, was making a duct tape dress.

And yes, of course, the maker was required to wear the dress to the homecoming dance.

As a follow up, each student submitted ten photographs of their work for an exhibiton that was part of a fashion show that featured the duct tape dresses.

A tip of the tape news  hat to these kids whose photos were auctioned off in a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society.
