Why Blame It On Gaffers Tape
Linda Gittleman, columnist for the Michigan Morning Sun, expressed the frustration lots of folks feel when trying to create the “do it yourself” projects promoted by gurus like Martha Stewart who always seem to have everything they need at the ready to do what they describe as “simple projects”.
She was referring to a “make simple toys” (in this case, a sailboat) yourself with items found around the home.
This “simple” project required:
scissors
a utility knife
rulers
rubber bands glue
decorative tape
gift wrap
craft paper
stapler
With a list like this, it hardly seems fair to single out gaffers tape as the culprit.
