Pat Loud, the matriarch in the ground breaking public television show from the 1970’s “An American Family”, recently told an interviewer that she was paid nothing to do the show that became the blue print for today’s reality television genre.

Loud said that her total compensation was $432.00 to be used to repaint her kitchen after the crew damaged it with gaffers tape.
