Gaffers Tape and Pillows Kept Plane from Crashing

An emergency exit door blew open on a flight from Bangkok to Hong Kong on Monday. According to a passenger report, one flight attendant hid under her chair while some passengers “wept in terror.” Instead of landing, the crew stuffed the partially-open door full of pillows that were gaffers-taped together.
