It’s not a funny story, but, nonetheless, the image does evoke a smile.

No doubt, the person who duct taped a bunch of heliuim balloons to a turtle and sent it aloft is guilty of animal cruelty, and there is nothing funny about that. Still, it’s not every day that you see a turtle flying through the air.

Fortunately, the turtle was rescued from where it landed in a tree and returned, apparently unharmed, to terra firma.
